i still say that puck was over the line to give the flyers a 4-3 lead late in the 2nd period, and shocked the review didn't change the call. if that counts...who knows how the game ends? maybe boston comes back to tie it and then wins in OT. i think i worked against them...in a strange way.

Sad ending to this guy's career, but this is still by far my favorite goal celebration ever.

He would have been still locked up at 4 million. That is just insanity. To think of what we would have had if it weren't for the injury... Bergeron, Krecji, Savard.. oh my.

I remember seeing this on TV and they played the goal celebration like 10 times on NHL live. Just raw emotion.

My buddy plays with him in a beer league. Next season I've gotta go get a jersey signed by him. He's one of those guys that really loved the game and seemed to always put forth 100%

Little surprised I haven't seen an article from Ty discussing whether or not the Bruins got enough in the Martin Jones trade. Guy leads the sharks to the WCF final and he is under a pretty cheap contract. A first round pick and an NCAA prospect doesn't seem to be enough looking back on this deal. Hindsight is 20/20 but if a team that scouts him as much as the Sharks did playing the Kings all the time want him that badly I wonder if they could have gotten more....

Considering what most other goalies were going for last summer, I seriously doubt we could have gotten any more for a goalie with less than 50 games under his belt

Well, the Devils stole Schneider for a first round pick (9th) so I think the return for Jones is fair. Although 17th would have been better than 27th - 30th.

True, a first rounder was appropriate I think. Would have been even better if the sharks were a bottom feeder. But you can't always get top 10 picks like we got in the kessel trade.

No matter what happened to Seguin or Hamilton, we'll always have 2011.

Is anyone else watching the World Hockey Championship? I'm going to go out on a limb here and predict that if Frankie V plays in 80 or more games this year he will be in the top 5 for shot attempts at years end. He'd shoot from the parking lot if he could.

The kid is good for like 5 shots a game at least. Bruins need more of that. Kid will be a stud.

I think if he plays a full season with a healthy Krejci and pp time he could score 30+. Just an impossibly pure shot
